Saltbox Brewing Company

Saltbox Brewing Company, founded in 2016, is a craft brewery rooted in Nova Scotia’s South Shore. With taprooms in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, and Bridgewater, Saltbox has become the largest brewer in Lunenburg County, employing over two dozen staff and supported by a team of owners, board members, and investors. Guided by their motto “think social, drink local,” Saltbox has built a reputation for quality craft beer, cider, and ready-to-drink beverages. Their philosophy is grounded in community impact, local heritage, and artisanal craftsmanship.

Our Work Together

I partnered with Saltbox Brewing Company to develop a comprehensive business case for a direct-to-can digital printing facility — an innovative and environmentally sustainable approach to beverage packaging. The project explored market analysis, competitive review, financial projections, and go-to-market strategy for establishing Atlantic Canada’s first dedicated facility of this kind. The work offered Saltbox a roadmap to reduce supply chain risks, create regional jobs, and strengthen the competitive edge of local craft beverage producers. Beyond the project, my relationship with Saltbox grew into a friendship, and I’ve had the privilege of hosting their open mic music events.
